The River

They arrived at the River after a short walk, "now" said Trike "let's launch our raft that we made last week", and so they pulled out there raft that was hidden behind some bushes and launched it on the River, then all climbed on board. |

"Ok crew "said Trike "I'm going to be Captain Blue Beard, he was the best Pirate ever, and you want to be first mate Squeak", "yes it's my turn, and what about you Scratch", "I will be the ships Boson" He cried, "and I want to be a look- out", said Bite "in case we see any other ships we can raid". So off they sailed down the River having a great time. |

As they where sailing round a bend in the river, Bite
shouted "Ahoy landlubber ahead it's Jimmy Bean one of the Bean brothers
who live past the big waterfall", "eye eye" said Captain Trike "pull
ashore lads and see what he wants".So they sailed into shore to talk to
Jimmy Bean who was walking along the river bank whistling a merry old
tune, Hello Jimmy" said Trike "Where are you going"? "I'm off to meet my brother a long way down the river, you could give me a lift Trike," "no I am very sorry Jimmy if you got on the raft then it would not be safe as you are to heavy, and we would sink". |
