They soon arrived at Owl Island, it was a strange looking place with tall trees with a big yellow flower growing out of the top of each tree." Come on let's be quick" said Harry, "we must find Old Hoot before it gets dark or he will be asleep, and then we will not be able to wake him until tomorrow" "Owls don't sleep at night" said Aucky "this is a strange land I will never get used to it". |

Then as they went round the next bend Harry started to get excited, "there's Hoot" he cried, and up in a very old tree sat Old Hoot, he was a fine looking big Brown Owl. Harry was the first to speak, "hello wise Old Hoot, can you help us?" Hoot looked at Aucky and said " you are a stranger in our land young Aucky, how did you come here?" Aucky said "how did you know my name Old Hoot?" Harry said "he is the wisest in the land of Odd he knows every thing, please Old Hoot we need your help, how can Aucky get home?" |
