Coming towards him was a large fat red
hedgehog wearing a top hat, but the strangest thing was he was walking
backwards and muttering to himself.
As he walked past Aucky he suddenly stopped and looked at Aucky and said "Who are you young fellow? I have never seen you before, you are not from here". "No" replied Aucky "My name is Aucky Duck and I got inside a big old Oak tree and Whoosh the ground opened up and I fell down and down and when I woke up I was here".

"You must be from the Upperland" "The Upperland" said Aucky "Where am I". "You are in the land of Odd, and my name is Harry Hedgehog Glad to meet you Aucky, but you had better come with me, we will have to see Old Hoot, he will tell us what to do". "Who is Old Hoot?" asked Aucky, "Old Hoot is the wisest one in The Land Of Odd, he is a big brown owl and they say he is over 200 years old". So off they went down the winding path through this strange forest. |

Aucky looked at Harry," Why do you walk
backwards Harry it's very strange", "We all walk this way in Odd" said
Harry, "so we can see where we have been", just then they came across a
group of big brown bulls all sat in a row with fishing rods, and on the
end of each line was a balloon floating in the air then a hook with a
wiggly worm on the end. Aucky stopped and said "hello Mr Bulls why are you fishing in the sky?" the first bull said "why everyone knows this is a good spot, the fish fly past here every day." Fish fly gasped Aucky". Then Harry said " "don't be surprised lads Aucky is from the Upperland" "yes we have heard of that place", said the 1st bull, "don't your fish fly in the sky and birds swim in the lakes?" "No " said Aucky "this is a very odd place indeed". "we are off to see old Hoot" said Harry, "he should know what to do and tell us how to get Aucky back to the Upperland".
