One summers day down by the
river, a little duck called Aucky who lived in The Isle Of Man with his
Mummy and Daddy. It was very warm and sunny, so Aucky said "Mummy, can I
go and play in the forest?" "Yes" said Mummy "but don't go to far, and be careful".

So off Aucky went into the dark and lush green forest, he could see all the big trees, and could hear the birds singing high in the branches. He hadn't gone far when Aucky heard a noise behind him. He looked around but could not see anything, then all of a sudden CYRIL SQUIRREL jumped from behind a bush and scared Aucky. Aucky ran as fast as he could and CYRIL SQUIRREL was chasing him, shouting "I will get you Aucky".

Aucky ran and ran. He was
very scared, then suddenly Aucky tripped and fell down a big
Hollow in the
forest. Over and over he fell and landed with a bump. Aucky started to cry " My Leg! Oh my leg! My leg!"
